Mit JoSch 26 zum Themenschwerpunkt Artificial Intelligence in the Writing Centre laden wir Autor*innen ein, Beiträge rund um die Implikationen von Künstlicher Intelligenz auf die Schreibdidaktik einzureichen. Das zentrale Ziel dieser Ausgabe ist es, die Auswirkungen von KI auf die Schreibzentrumsarbeit und schreibdidaktischen Angebote zu beleuchten. Insofern geht es weniger um die allgemeinen Auswirkungen von KI auf das wissenschaftliche Schreiben, als vielmehr um die Frage, wie KI unsere Identität und unseren Wert als Schreibdidaktiker*innen sowie als Schreibzentrumsmitarbeitende beeinflussen kann.

With issue 26 of JoSch and its topic Artificial Intelligence in the Writing Centre we are inviting authors to contribute to a special issue focusing on the profound transformation of academic writing due to the advances in artificial intelligence (AI). The main aim of this issue is to explore the impact of AI on everyday practice in writing centers and programs, rather than looking at the general impact of AI on academic writing. Overall, we address the issue of how artificial intelligence can influence our identity and value as professionals at academic writing centres.
